This Week’s Highlights
*Prophecy Encourages Man With Cane – see Pastor Thomas
*Follow-Up Provides Confirmation of Healing – see Linda
*Spirit of Prophecy Released Over Family – see Pastor Lorraine

About 20 Kingdom Builders came out this week and went to Main Street, Health Sciences, Quest Inn, Central Park, and Portage Place.
This was the 2nd week in a row that I wasn’t able to make it out, so again I have nothing to Report.

Pastor Thomas’ Report:
Tonight I had a commitment at the Qualico Centre in Assiniboine Park. I took Jeremiah V with me and as we were walking through the park we met a man with a cane so we asked if we could pray for him.  His name was Eric and he had a muscle condition similar to muscular dystrophy.  After prophesying over him he said the word was right on and that he was a Christian.  He was greatly encouraged.

Linda’s Report:
Warren, Georges, and I largely spent the night following up with those whom we had met last Thursday and other nights, in and around HSC, who had expressed a desire for additional prayer and support.
We followed up with both O and J who had previously made decisions to receive Jesus.   In the process of searching for O, as he had since been discharged, we met his brother, who also really needed some support, having endured the tragedy of recently losing his father, and then his mother, who had a heart attack at the wake for his father and then losing his son.  He was left to help raise his grandchildren and also help his siblings and the resulting stress of it all took a toll on his body, making him quite ill.   Mostly, he seemed to just want to share what he had been through, as he seemed to be coming along in his physical healing journey.
We then followed up with W and his wife L, who had both arrived for dialysis.   W had since taken a bad fall and we were able to pray about that as he was in such pain it was hard for him to move, much less get any rest since the accident.   It seemed to me that the pain had subsided some after we prayed, as he was able to converse more freely.  He also said it had helped.
We then spoke with L, who became more peaceful about navigating their complex situation and I think prayer actually warmed her up.   When we arrived, she was shivering under her covers, but no longer.   We helped her with a small amount of money to take a cab home after dialysis, in response to her request, which gave her some peace of mind as she needed the help.          Lastly, we spoke with J and prayed with him, leaving him with an Aboriginal bible.   He shared some amazing testimony of what had happened since last week’s prayer.  He was told his right arm would need to be amputated and now, it was not necessary.  He was also concerned he would have to be put on dialysis but the doctors tested him and now it seems his body had since become stronger and he does not need it.   There was a dove sitting just outside his hospital window, so we took a cue to speak about and pray for a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit.    Thank you, LORD, for the work of your Holy Spirit!

Pastor Lorraine’s Report:
We met at Zion Church and as we gathered we felt led to pray for 3 young adults/young students who had finished up their school year and the Lord highlighted them to us as the next generation to advance His Kingdom!  It was a very encouraging and powerful time.
I went out with a larger group this time which then broke into two groups as we went along.  There were about 8 of us at Main Street ministering, giving away pizza, power bars and prayer.  One of the teams lead a woman in a wheelchair, Lorraine (same as mine!) to the Lord!  We shared Jesus love and the message of the Gospel with a number of people.  Very busy and active on Main Street with also some strong opposition by our enemy via a few angry people trying to challenge us.  Met a middle aged man who was nicely dressed, an alcoholic now living on the street due to alcoholism.
Later, our teams split up and went to the Quest Inn.  We prayed for various
people, but the highlight for this evening was a powerful encounter with a family (grandmother & granddaughter) and her friend.  All were believers.  We prophesied and prayed for healing for Nancy and her friend, and then the Lord highlighted Alexa her granddaughter to us all.  There was light all over her face! She was going to University in the fall, first year, and she was a beautiful young aboriginal woman, just graduated from high school, another young student.  Two of our team were also students/grads and we felt like they needed to pray for/with her.  Again, something about the generations kept coming up!  We prophesied over them (and the family), prayed for them for healing, and imparted some things to them.  It was a very encouraging evening as the spirit of prophecy was released over them all.
Pictured below:  The girl in yellow is Alexa, the girl we prayed with.  In the middle is Team Member Sheyenne, and on the right is Emily, one of the newest members of our team.  All 3 young women are high school grads.  Sheyenne is going to YWAM, Emily is going to Camp Arnes for the summer, and. Alexa is going to U of M in the fall.
