Twenty-six Kingdom Advancers came out tonight, and ministered on Main Street, Health Sciences, The Forks, Central Park, and Portage Place.

Pastor Lorraine’s Report:
Went to Main Street tonight with 5 team members where we bought pizzas, handed out protein bars, lots of love and prayers!  In some cases people’s pain left almost immediately and in one case a man who had injured his shoulder was able to use it again with no pain.  A highlight this evening was a woman named Florence who had one of my pastoral business cards who was asking for me!  She had apparently kept the card from a previous encounter and wondered if I was with the group.  As she greeted me she gave me a warm kiss on the cheek.  Such a sweet, tender hearted woman.  A second highlight was when we prayed for a woman named Laura who was in a wheelchair with very bad arthritis in her joints and back.  We prayed for her pain and it went down.  And as we prayed for her twisted hands and fingers we noticed a change in her right hand as the fingers began to slowly straighten out.  Amazing!!  Our team spent about 10 minutes praying with her and her husband and they were encouraged.”
Diana D. Adds:
I was in a Lorraine’s group and we started out on Main Street where we had several prayer encounters.  Diana M and I prayed and encouraged a man named Stan who was a believer. He had an infection in his eyes and pain in his side from an accident several years ago.  After prayer, his pain and range of movement in his arm was improved and he was grateful for the encouragement. Later at Central Park, I joined a team who had been praying for a lady who was intoxicated and who had level 10 pain in her ankle and back.  After praying for her ankle, all pain left and then I prayed for her back and all the pain left.  During this time she was also sobering up as we spoke to her.  She then wanted prayer for her alcohol addiction and said she drank because of the pain in her back.  Well, since that pain was healed I told her she wouldn’t feel the need to drink anymore and I lead her to pray off the spirit of addiction.  She is believer and gave praise to God.

Linda’s Report:
Murray and I headed to Health Sciences to join Warren and Georges.  Georges had run into D, a homeless man whom he had met before, who informed us that he had been in the hospital for 8.5 months.    He allowed prayer for his lower arm which was bandaged up as he had been stabbed.  He said he was in much pain and could not move his fingers.   After prayer, he tried to move his fingers right away and seemed to be able to move them a very small amount.  Despite that, he did not seem to want more prayer but only to speak of his addictions and longing for more of this and that and how he manages to do alright on the streets, even in winter.   He seemed to be championing his lifestyle, but it felt so discouraging.  Still, hopefully, that slight wiggle of a finger on his hand will help testify to him of something better than what any drug can offer.
In the interim, Warren had run into ‘O’, who had been outside.  We all met upstairs, in ‘O’s hospital room, where much of our evening was spent in prayer and fellowship.  ‘O’ was in a lot of pain.  He said he had fallen from a truck and sustained some internal injuries for which he was yet under observation, as he was taking several painkillers and he had some internal bleeding.  We first prayed for healing and the response had moved him deeply, as he said no one had ever prayed with him like that before.   For one, he felt he could breathe again.  His injuries and the related pain had made that very difficult.  He also said he had been experiencing a great weight on his chest and it was no longer there.  Prayer continued over a traumatic situation where he had seen someone die before his eyes.  It haunted him, but now he felt a great release.  He then agreed to receive Jesus as his savior.  We also prayed for his girlfriend, J, whose pained expression, resulting from cumulative stress gave way to a beautiful, peaceful smile.  Before we left, the two had gone from not looking at each other and hardly speaking to holding hands and loving on one another.   ‘O’ has asked for continued prayer support and visits while he is at HSC.  He is aware he needs to forge new relationships.  They insisted on hugs and wanted continued contact with us.   He found himself weeping which is something he had not been previously able to do, evidence of the deep work in his heart that the Lord was doing.

Sheyenne’s Report:
Tonight we talked to and prayed with a few people.  Vanessa was struggling with night terrors, she told us a bit about her story and how she was terrified to go to sleep because of what happens to her at night. We spent some time ministering to her, and praying for peace as she sleeps. We then spent some time talking to Joe, who wanted to be free from alcoholism, so we prayed over that and engaged in conversation for a while.
Lastly we spent some time ministering to Hazel who looked to be in her twenties. She told us about a few things that she wanted us to pray over, she lost her baby a few years ago, and she currently had a child in foster care that she wanted back. Then we prayed over her addictions.
Overall we got to bless quite a few people, it was a beautiful night.
