Numbers of ministers were down this week. I counted 23 people. The temperature was also down, and the homeless were feeling the cold. My wife, Barb, had provided me with several scarves and gloves to give away, and they all seemed to find a home.
In order to not draw attention to ourselves from security, we have been purposefully keeping a lower profile. It seems to be working. One of the mall regulars asked me where everyone was. He said I guess not many of our team made it out. I pointed out a team besides him, one behind him, another in front, and 2 teams on the far side of the Food Court. He was surprised as he hadn’t noticed them until I pointed them out – mission low profile accomplished.
The mall was fairly busy, I recognized a lot of mall regulars, and spent time visiting with some of them. While visiting with regulars I met a new lady named Sharon, and her adult son Lindsay. Apparently, the son had been stabbed a couple of years ago and almost died, but he was prayed for by a minister friend of mine from Niverville, Roger Armbruster, and he survived. During his near-death experience, he had visions of hell, and heaven, and while he was in a coma he was aware of certain events happening around him. I prophesied over him that he was spared for a reason, that he had a calling on his life, and all those visions were to prepare him for his calling. Lindsay seemed surprised to hear that, but his mother reminded him that Roger had also told him the same thing.
At 9 Hannah called me over to pray with her for Doug. He had an accident and burnt himself in the stomach area, such that his skin was peeling. We prayed and he felt the area getting warm, and we prayed again and he said it was getting even warmer, and he felt it was healing. “Definitely better”, he said.
Miracles Happening World Wide
The miracles that are happening in Portage Place, are actually happening all over the world. We are in new season folks. Jesus is coming back soon, and before He does He is pouring out His spirit to draw many to Himself. Below is a clip that talks about this spiritual awakening and a challenge for us.
A tidal wave is coming: Loren Cunningham, Founder of YWAM and the University of the Nations extends an invitation to each of us. He visits about 30-40 nations a year and is noticing an interesting phenomenon transpiring on the earth, right now!
Loren urges us all, “It’s a tidal wave of spiritual awakening as it’s rising worldwide. Don’t miss it! Go to action! You’ve been praying, speaking, teaching, talking, it’s time to get involved with the greatest move of God the world has ever known. Don’t miss it! Don’t let it pass you by!”
He encourages each of us to get involved with what God’s doing on a global scale. Loren is watching the rise of a tremendous wave, like a “tidal wave” of spiritual awakening.

Seems as though the Lord is inviting the entire body of Christ into the adventure of following Him in bold, courageous ways – through our prayers, worship and communicating the good news of the gospel far and wide.
I say come and join the adventure – you qualify. Come join us and watch a miracle before your very eyes. Of cours,e it will wreck you, but it will also grow your faith, and cause you to worship at a renewed depth.
Pastor Thomas’ Team:
We encountered about 10 people last night. Saw 3 people healed and prophesied over 3 people. I had Ethan and Paul with me and we were at Portage Place. As we walked in we met a very angry and upset man whose baby daughter was on life support with no hope from the doctors. We spent time ministering love and peace to him and he calmed down. We prayed for his foot which was hurting as well. We also ministered to a woman from Cross Lake whose family was affected by residential schools and torn apart. With her was a 12 year old boy whose mother was killed 4 months ago in a head on collision on the highway. Later we prayed for a man whose hip was hurting from an accident he was in in January. God healed him and he opened up about how his life was affected when he was ripped away from his family on the reserve in the 60’s Scoop scandal. He was powerfully touched as we ministered life to him and he recommitted his life back to the Lord. I felt so much compassion for him. So much tragedy and brokenness in people’s lives that have been so devoid of the Father’s love.
Dove’s Team:
We decided to tour Portage Place Mall from one end to another. Our group was Lucille, Andrew and myself. We walked to the second food court at City Place to see if God would open some doors. We met Stephanie and William who said they had pain and we prayed for them but I think they were more interested in getting money…
On the way back we saw 4 youth so we asked if any of them had pain and two said they had some so we prayed for Sophia first …she said her ankles were a 9 prayed once and her pain was totally gone. Then we prayed for Raven who had shoulder pain. The pain was a 2 and we prayed and it went to 0.

Geraldine’s Team
We encountered 10 people, and most all at the same table.
We prayed for a man named Kennedy and his hands and hip got healed. He also asked Iris to drive away demons that were tormenting him for a long time. A young lady approached Iris and asked if she was a Christian. Iris spent time alone ministering to this young lady.
Geraldine’s Vision & Prophecy (a first time experience)
This is what happened while I prayed for an ex-con named Jason.
Hannah and I split up from Andy & Iris as I was told that a security guard was watching our group closely. Hannah approached 2 people just 2 tables down from where Iris and Andy were. She asked them if they had any pain they wanted healing for – they said no, then I asked them if they want prayers – Jason said sure. Irma got-up and left but Jason stayed seated. I prayed for him and then when I paused for a bit – the Holy Spirit prompted me to pray for him again. This time I placed my hand on his shoulder and an open vision came up. I had my eyes literally opened but blankly staring in the air. I saw him when he was a little boy, aged 1-2-3-4-5 then when he was in grade school and in high school. I described what I saw and what the Lord wants Jason to hear. The Lord reminded him of the time when he walked with Him, in full trust, love, and obedience. Then Jason bowed down and began wiping his tears. The Holy Spirit showed me the wonderful moments that he and the Lord had back when he was younger – on and on and on I spoke over him – of things I can barely remember now. I then asked Jason if all that he heard was true. He said YES! Everything was true. I was amazed!!!
Lorraine’s Team:
Our team was Jeremiah and myself. We encountered 3 people. Prayed for 2. No healing or anything significant to report. Was a quiet night actually.
Lorraine on Lessons She Learned on the Streets:
Too often when we pray for others we give up much too soon. Last week we persistently prayed for a young man with a withered, useless hand and saw life come back into it right before our eyes. It seemed a bit surreal, but it was definitely real–Heaven meeting earth at that moment. One lesson I learned was that when we pray for healing for others–DON’T GIVE UP TOO SOON! It may seem crazy to pray and see nothing at first and then after a few tries you might feel like giving up, but don’t stop! Your enemy (and maybe others and yourself) might whisper to stop, you’re looking bad, nothing’s happening, you’re wasting your or their time, etc. Any number of thoughts might come to mind. Learning to persist and not give up in the face of resistance like that takes practice. And then learn to STOP WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT TELLS YOU to. Both these things takes time and practice, learning to listen to the Spirit of God as He directs the healing. Remember: It’s not up to you, but God who is the HEALER. Take the pressure off of yourself! We pray in faith with expectation and He hears our prayers!
